With the wider availability of information about traditionally secretive issues individuals are more open about their interest in sexuality both in form of dating language and dress. The difference in expectation of a date in the male / female view of dating is quite marked and clearly shown by the public advice disseminated by popular media, e.g. magazines, which is in stark contrast. The average duration of courtship before proceeding to engagement or marriage varies considerably throughout the world.

What is lets group

We are a group of single adults. Membership is open to any single (divorced, widowed, never married, or separated) adult. This is a social group (not a dating service/club) open to anyone regardless of their religious or political beliefs. Quick history of the group... the group split off from a local singles group on September 10th, 2000. At that point we named ourselves lets group to reflect that most of the members feel part of a special group, New Hampshire or the surrounding towns (including those South of the NH/MA border). The membership has since grown quite a bit since then (40,533 receive the free weekly newsletter). As such we have changed our name twice since as we've grown, first to single party, and the last (and probably final) time to lets-group to reflect our ever growing membership base in the UK.
